RIP: Etta James, the legendary genre-spanning singer who gave the world many memorable hits including “At Last” and “The Wallflower,” has passed away. She was 73.
James, who was diagnosed with leukemia 2010, had been in poor health for some time.
Affectionately known as Miss Peaches, the Matriarch of R&B had multiple Grammys to her name, and was inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame.
Incidentally, the man who discovered James, Johnny Otis, passed away just yesterday.

One Direction – One Thing – Acoustic Video
It’s one of my favorite tracks from the album. This is insanely amazing, they have grown leaps and bounds and they’re just breaking in to be one of the best boy groups in this generation. They’re one of the best groups I adore in the UK (Besides Take That and McFly)
And also, Liam’s voice and hearing is super SICCKK. His falsetto’s are just…. breath of fresh air. He blends and neutralizes each one’s voice and tone so well. It just shows the incomparable talent he offers in the group. And Zayn, undoubtedly, has the range and I adore his voice and style of singing SO SO much. Niall and Harry are the runners and are both equally talented and each has distinct voices. And lastly, Louis, for the record, has the voice and can also prove that he can sing his heart out, great tone in his voice, very pop-ish and this just declared that he is more than just a passable singer (also his part in their song Moments from the album, is incredible). Uncle Simon must be so proud with these boys. They’ve come so far and they’ve got a long way to go now that they’re about to break into the US scene. They’re going to be HUGE for sure.
